Kristi Thomas began her career in the benefits industry as an Account Manager for USpersonnel in 2000, handling insurance, payroll and employee issues for clients across the Southeast. Soon after joining their team, she was promoted to Senior Human Resources Consultant and the Manager of the Columbia division.
In 2008, she joined a large benefits company and worked as an Account Manager for five years. In both Account Management positions her goal was to provide excellent service so that she could build strong long-term relationships with her clients.
Kristi joined Insurance Management Group in February 2014 as the Business Manager and easily transitioned into the role of Account Manager. “Superlative customer service is my mission and for my clients to feel comfort in knowing they can contact me at any time, about any issues.”
Kristi was born and raised in South Carolina and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time with her daughter. Kristi is a member of the Junior League of Columbia and is a Sunday School teacher at her church.
